Getting Our Geek On

Three of our students have been checking out the game Mrs Raisin has been learning to make from scratch...

Later on we moved into making our own games FROM SCRATCH!
We've been learning to collaborate...
  • how to use digital co-ordinates
  • x and y axis)
  • It could help you with your future jobs that will need computer programming.
  • learning something new and how to be the teacher to our friends.

Fwd: The Harmony Singers & The South Hornby Storytellers

The Harmony Singers visited our school today, sharing their fabulous talents with us. We've never heard Little Jack Horner sung in such a creative way before!

They told us the story of Joshua in the city of Jericho...

Many of us had seen the movie 'The Sound of Music'... The Harmony Singers sang a beautiful rendition. Hine Hine is a lullaby that many have also heard, although perhaps not as well sung as today.

Our own South Hornby Storytellers were certainly noticing the skills on display!

None of us had heard "The Duck's Ditty" before...

Both choirs joined together to sing "Three Blind Mice", then "Frere Jaque" in harmony.

Then it was our turn...
